Atlanta Branch Youth Council affords young people ages 12-24 the opportunity to develop leadership skills and positive interaction with other high school and college chapters throughout the city. Members of the Council gain an understanding of the NAACP from a historical perspective, as well as the organization's scholarships and academic programs.
SAT Clinics provide college bound high school students with skills necessary for improved performance on Scholastic Aptitude Tests through development classes in vocabulary, reading and mathematics. the three clinics held each year convene for six weeks on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
ACT-SO (Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics) provides an instrument through which black youth are encouraged and inspired toward excellence in academic and cultural pursuits while benefiting from community support in the local annual high school competitions. First place winners compete at the National Conference for financial and academic awards.
ACT-SO Pair Program partners ACT-SO competition participants with experienced professionals to serve as mentors in the student's area of interest. Mentors not only stimulate academic and career excellence but, in addition, motivate self-esteem and self-discipline within these young achievers.
Voter Registration and Education initiatives are general toward getting all citizens of Fulton County registered and educated about the voting process. NAACP deputy registers work numerous sites throughout the year, team with Operation Big Vote, and help provide free rides to the polls on election day.
Legal Redress is one the strongest NAACP programs available to metro Atlanta citizens. This program is supported by a team of volunteer lawyers and EEO specialist who are dedicated to ensuring that minority citizens receive just and fair treatment.
Fair Share reinvests dollars spent by African-American consumers into their communities through jobs and business opportunities, minority vendor conferences, aggressive affirmative action programs, and job listing available through the NAACP office.
Next Step equips unemployed, underemployed, homeless and publicly assisted women with typing basic, business etiquette and computer skills in today's job market.
Armed Services and Veteran Affairs Committee acts as the veterans' advocate and serves as a source of information on government agencies and other materials which may be requested by the veteran.
The Annual NAACP Job Fair held each spring provides employment opportunities for more than 10,000 attendees seeking professional positions. Participants have a chance to network one-on-one with potential employers and attend a variety of self-help seminars.
Financial Planning and Assistance are offered in partnership with the NAACP Community Development Resource Center in home buying, consumer lending, small business development, establishing and maintaining credit, investment research, budgeting, and money management. \
The Freedom Fund Dinner serves to raise funds for the operation of the Atlanta Branch NAACP and its programs, while honoring persons who have made significant contribution to the community and the struggle for justice.
Annual Membership Drive involves NAACP groups and individuals in spreading the word about the mission and goals of the organization. Members enjoy recruiting others to become active voices in the struggle for justice.
Open Hearings and Meetings are held to inform members about issues of interest and concern to the community.

Criminal Justice Clinic - Twice-monthly hearings for cases by NAACP Legal Redress Committee and the Gate City Bar Association.
Women in the NAACP (WIN) - Galvanizes women around social, economic and political issues of importance to the Afican-American community.
Lobbying Network - Educates and informs members about ongoing legislative initiatives and issues.
Political Action Forums - Informational / educational meetings designed to keep all abreast of ongoing political issues/ the politicians and candidates who determine policy.
